UNFPA and UNU-IIGH jointly presents "Portraits: Journeys of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Survivors across Malaysia's One-Stop Crisis Centres (OSCCs)," our latest report examining the country's gender-based violence response through the lens of survivors who navigate the system.
This study focuses on Malaysia's longstanding OSCC model, which provides a centralised point for survivors to access support services from medical personnel, law enforcement and counsellors at public hospitals across the country.
Through interviews, case studies and research, the report charts survivors' journeys across OSCCs and outlines how it can be improved to meet the needs of gender-based violence survivors.
